We used the Route 1 Car Rental on our 5 day trip to Iceland in October 2014. Was greeted by a friendly representative at KEF. I will be traveling to Iceland in August/September with my family of 5 and will rent a car for 8 days. MyCar.is has the best rate I've found for a Estate/Station Wagon type of vehicle. I've read about lots of bad experiences with many rental companies in Iceland but haven't found many reviews for this company.
